India, wake up!

IPL, Nobody is taking the Pakistani players. Mr. Bal Thakre and his so called sena has warned the IPL team owners to not to have Pakistani players for this years IPL. Ram Sena has given warnings to youngsters to not to celebrate Valentines Day. Indians are getting killed in Australians. UK is having a ban on Indian students!

What is this happening! Nobody is talking about world peace now. Nobody is talking about Copenhagen anymore! Are all the REAL problems in the world over that we are creating new problems and are fighting over it?

I watched "My name is KHAN", some time back. i liked a few things in the movie which i feel are very good messages to all.

There are only 2 kinds of people, good and bad. And this is so simple that even a 5 year old can understand what is good and what is not. Rest all do not matter actually, no cast, no religion, no country are bigger than good and bad. Then why do we fight over religion. I believe religion is a way or practice of living, its a belief. Then how can we say a person is good or bad based on the religion. and more over how can we generalize it. And MR. Thakre, who the f@*# are you to decide what is good and what is bad. Who are you to control the screening of movies and decide who should play and who should not. The same applies to Ram Sena. Good that the youths painted the chairmans face black in a rally. Who is he to decide what is good for the culture and by what means, beating youngsters! Threatening them! No way sir we are not fools and you are not literate enough to take such decisions about us.

The other common problem discussed in the movie is about we generalizing things. Australians may think, all Indians are bad. Marathi's may think all north indians have to kicked out of Mumbai. The whole world may think all muslims are terrorists. Are we really so naive that if one person or a group does something wrong that we start hating any body associated (here again i dont understand what does associations mean, Americans who dont even know how many states are there in USA claim to know who is bad and who is not) with them also.

I guess its high time we wake up and see and find out what is right and what is wrong and just not let people impose rules on us. Lets not let the political parties and organizations with political motives take the reins of our life and lifestyle. We need to start believing in ourselves and start spreading the message of love.

As said the movie also, "hum honge kamyaab ek din"!

But for that to happen there has to be a beginning! So what are we waiting for, lets wake up!!
